Non-Hazardous Waste
IFS Waste Services specializes in the safe, efficient removal of non-hazardous wastes resulting from industrial processes. These wastes are defined as those generated directly or indirectly in the manufacture of a product or performance of a service. Examples include:
- Chemical catalysts
- Paint sludge
- Incinerator ash
- Metallic dust sweepings
- Off-specification, contaminated or recalled wholesale or retail products.
- Sludge from wastewater treatment plants or water supply treatment plants and air pollution control facilities
- Other discarded material, including solid, liquid, semi-solid, or containerized gaseous material resulting from industrial, commercial, mining, and other agricultural operations.
Industrial-process and pollution-control wastes must be properly certified by their generators to make them eligible for management as non-special waste. According to EPA regulations, non-hazardous wastes are those wastes not categorized as hazardous wastes.
Special Waste Transportation
IFS Waste Services is licensed in Wisconsin and Illinois for the safe removal and transportation of these industrial wastes. All non-hazardous wastes are transported to a properly licensed facility and are safely disposed of following EPA regulations.
